Hi I'm Paul, the founder of EP Compliance, a Health & Safety Compliance and Training consultancy built on over 25 years of hands-on experience in training, operational safety, and compliance.

My professional journey began with a full career in the military, where I developed a strong foundation in leadership, risk management, and safety-critical operations. After leaving the Armed Forces, I brought those skills into the private sector, working with respected organisations such as Princess Yachts, where I was part of the Compliance Training team, and Babcock International, serving as a Facilities and Training Team Leader.

I later took on a key Health & Safety and Transport Management role, gaining extensive experience in compliance across high-risk, fast-paced environments. These roles strengthened my ability to develop practical safety systems and deliver effective, engaging training at all levels.

In December 2023, I launched EP Compliance to support individuals and organisations—particularly new and growing businesses—in meeting their legal responsibilities with confidence and clarity. I deliver a range of accredited training and compliance services, with a focus on straightforward advice, real-world application, and no unnecessary jargon.

• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety

• IOSH Managing Safely

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme – CITB)

• Certificate in Education and Training (CIPD)

• First Aid & Mental Health Instructor (NUCO)

I’m also a keen supporter of grassroots sport and passionate about helping local clubs create safer environments. By delivering pitch side first aid training, I empower volunteers with the confidence and skills they need to support their teams on and off the pitch.
